Từ vựng trong mảng Finance and Banking
1. Accounts payable: Accounts payable is an accounting entry that represents an entity’s obligation to pay off a short – term debt to its creditors (tài khoản nợ phải trả)
2. Account holder: Individual or entity which is authorized to perform transactions on behalf of an account, such as bank account (chủ tài khoản)
3. Amortize: to reduce a debt by paying small regular amounts (khấu hao)
Ví dụ: The value of the machine is amortized over its estimated useful life
4. Bond: An official paper given by the government or a company to show that you have lent them money that they will pay back to you at a particular interest rate (trái phiếu)
Ví dụ: I invested some money in savings bonds
5. Bankrupt: Unable to pay what you owe, and having had control of your financial matters given, by a law court, to a person who sells your property to pay your debts (phá sản)
He believes that modern society is moral bankrupt.
6. Capital: Money and possessions, especially a large amount of money used for producing more wealth or for starting a new business (nguồn vốn)
Ví dụ: The central bank has announced controls on capital outflows.
7. Deposit: To put something valuable, especially money in a bank or safe (tiền gửi)
Ví dụ: I deposited $1000 in my account this morning
8. Shareholder: A person who owns shares in a company and therefore gets part of the company’s profits and the right to vote on how company is controlled (cổ đông)
Ví dụ: The company secretary has written to all the shareholders to apologize for the mistake.
9. Dividend: The profit of a company that is paid to the people who own shares in it (cổ tức)
Ví dụ: It was a smart move that’s paying serious dividends.
10. Liquidity: The fact of being able to change into cash easily (thanh khoản)
Ví dụ: The business no longer has sufficient liquidity to meet its operational needs.
11. Withdraw: To take or move out or back, or to remove (rút tiền)
Ví dụ: With a certificate of deposit, a person agrees not to withdraw the money for the certain period of time.
12. Dispenser: A machine or container that you can get something from (máy tút tiền)

13. Cheque account: Or current account (tài khoản hiện hành)
14. Financial: Relating to money or how money is managed (tài chính)

15. Financial institution: A company that provides financial services, for example, a bank, an insurance company, or an invested fund (cơ quan tài chính)
Ví dụ: How to credit unions differ from banks and other financial institutions?
