Từ vựng trong mảng Marketing
1. Niche market: a small area of trade within the economy, often involving specialized products (thị trường hẹp nhưng sinh lời cao)
Ví dụ: Lotus make luxury cars for a small but significant niche market.
2. Entry level: the lowest level of an organization, type of work (mức việc cho người mới bắt đầu)
Ví dụ: E- commerce is presenting a lot of new jobs at entry level.
3. Market segment: a group of possible customers who are similar in their needs, age, education.. (phân khúc thị trường)
Ví dụ: Tablet computers are aimed at the home user market segment.
4. Advertising budget: An advertising budget is an estimation of a company’s promotion expenditures over a period of time (ngân sách quảng cáo)
Ví dụ: Advertising budget is often the first to be developed in a business
5. Shelf life: the length of time that something remains useful, popular, or successful
Ví dụ: these days many marriages have a fairly short shelf life.
6. Sales charges: an additional amount of money that you pay when you buy shares, insurance, or other financial products from broker
Ví dụ: Thousand of people talking out pensions have been hit by crippling sales charges
7. Sales target: the specified amount of sales that a management sets for achieving or exceeding within a specified timeframe (mục tiêu doanh thu)
Ví dụ: sales targets are apportioned among different sales units such as salesperson, distributors, agents…
8. Slogan: a short easily remembered phrase, especially one used to advertise an idea or a product (khẩu hiệu)
Vd: A campaign slogan
9. Leaflet: A piêc of paper that gives you information or advertises something (tờ rơi)
Ví dụ: a leaflet about the new bus services came through the door today.
10. Trademark: A name or symbol on a product that shows it wa made by a particular company, and that it cannot be used by other companies without permission (thương hiệu)
Ví dụ: Nike is a registered trademark.
11. Brand: a type of product made by a particular company (nhãn hiệu)
Ví dụ: when I go to a supermarket I usually buy own brands.
12. Distribution: the process of giving things out to several people or spreading or supplying something (phân phối)
Ví dụ: we could reduce our costs by developing a more efficient distribution network.
13. Swot analysis: swot analysis is a process that identifies the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of an organization ( phân tích Swot)
Ví dụ: Swot analysis needs to be kept specific by avoiding gray areas and analyzing in relation to the competition.
14. Portfolio: a collection of drawings, documents.. that represent a perosn’s, especially an artist’s, work (danh mục)
Ví dụ: a large company that handle mutual funds had discovered several thousand dollars missing from its clients.
15. Term: fixed period of time that something lasts for (giai đoạn)
Ví dụ: the government’s term of office expires at the end of the year.
